Who am I???
Who am I?
I am an American.
I was born in the UK to an Irish mother and raised in Spain so I am also European.
I am conservative.
I am a liberal.
I am a voter and you should be too.
I am pro-life in all respects to include the death penalty.
I believe the federal government should only serve three purposes:
1. Security
2. Facilitation of commerce.
3. Arbitrate when states can’t agree.
Everything else is a state function.
I believe in a day’s work for a day’s pay.
I believe in helping your fellow man but not carrying them or having the government do it.
I believe this is the best country in the World, I have been to enough of the others to make that statement with certainty.
I believe if you fail here, you quit trying.
I believe that most Americans have an inflated sense of self worth and feel it is better to deserve than earn.
I believe if there are no longer any jobs where you live, then move. Remember we began as a migratory species and that still seems to work, Just check out the lines of folks trying to get in here.
I believe in tall fences but wide gates along our borders.
I believe in the 2nd amendment but that you don’t need 500 guns or the ability to fire 500 rounds a minute.
I believe in free speech and I would like to add the smartest thing we learned as children to the Bill of Rights and that is:
Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me!
I am a founding member of P.O.O.P. (People Offended by Offended People).
I believe that Republicans aren’t evil.
I believe that Democrats aren’t crazy.
I wonder why we were are always told to never make rash decisions when you are angry unless it’s an election.
I believe that Gay people are still people.
I believe if you vote straight R or D you are not thinking.
I believe that our schools should have the power to hold a kid back.
I believe that self esteem should be earned not given through coddling.
I believe that kids sports should have winners and losers.
I believe that kids should allowed fail and lose because that is the only way to learn what life is all about.
I believe in fairness and equality but they do not mean the same thing. Equality is a right, fairness is earned. If you do 60% of the work you should get 60% of the earnings, now thats fair.
I believe that Government can’t fix anything only the people can, so if you rely on it you are SOL.
I believe life is too short to be this angry about who lied, who is a socialist, or any other media imposed label.
I believe that 99% of email forwards are absolute crap.
I like Fox News, CNN, and the internet. All news is slanted so you should figure it out for yourself.
Our form of democracy is made stronger when we witness the chaos in Iran. We should all celebrate the fact that we get to vote and it works!
Don’t drink the cool-aid no matter who made it!!!

Hello all
first post. It is now 2012 and 2011 really sucked. I am looking forward to a much better year. 2012 will be awesome because it includes one of my three favorite sports that have World Cups every 4 years... Soccer, Rugby and Politics. Yes the US Presidential race is world cup worthy. It will affect everything and everyone out there. Study up folks because the minds will be tested and there will be blood from the battle of wits forthcoming. Strap on the mental feed bag and digest some political content from all sides. Leave your Kool-aid at home and mix your own.
